MociDigital is a growth-focused digital company helping businesses in the UK and internationally acquire clients through search, content, and conversion systems.
SEO at MociDigital is not about publishing random blog posts. It’s about capturing existing demand, improving visibility where buyers are already searching, and building search assets that compound over time.
We are building a strong in-house team in Ibadan and are looking for an SEO Specialist who understands structure, execution, and measurable outcomes.
The Role
We are hiring an SEO Specialist to plan, execute, and optimise SEO strategies across client and internal projects.
You will be responsible for technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content structure, and performance tracking, working closely with content, web, and strategy teams.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Ibadan.
What you will do
- Conduct keyword research focused on buyer intent and demand capture
- Optimise on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking)
- Audit and improve technical SEO (indexing, site structure, page speed)
- Work with content writers to guide SEO-driven content creation
- Optimise existing pages for higher rankings and conversions
- Identify and fix SEO issues affecting visibility and clicks
- Build repeatable SEO processes and documentation
- Report clearly on progress, wins, and next actions
Requirements
- 2–4+ years experience in SEO or search marketing
- Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and content SEO
- Experience with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
- Ability to work with WordPress-based websites
- Understanding of search intent, site structure, and internal linking
- Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven environment
- Based in Ibadan and available for full-time, on-site work
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a digital agency environment
- Knowledge of local SEO or international SEO
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, page builders, or technical fixes
